About Fun Girl Fitness

Fun Girl Fitness is a completely different approach to fitness. It is about being less than perfect, loving life intensely, and having the strength, balance, and radiant health to make any adventure a reality. It is about making fitness fun, not just in words, but in your actual experience of it. It’s about using your healthy and hot mama body (no matter what its shape) to build confidence and self-esteem.  And it’s about developing a connection/love/appreciation for your body that transcends exercise and will power, and creates a desire to treat yourself well because you deserve no less.

Fun Girl Fitness is your source for products and information to teach you how to melt off body fat, how to build lean, sexy muscle, how to eat with passion and purpose, and how to use ultimate self-care to command the life of your dreams. Fun Girl Fitness was created by Shelby Murphy, NSCA-CPT,  a leader in the fitness industry, editor-in-chief of a fitness trade magazine, and owner of a personal training studio. Every product must meet her standards — backed by science, workable for even the busiest of women, honors your body, gets you totally jazzed about living your highest vision of self, and is freakin’ FUN!

So if you’re easily offended, have trouble laughing at yourself or the ridiculousness of the world of “fitness”, take life very seriously, think your body is your enemy, aspire to look like Barbie, think the magic of moving your body is contained by reps and sets, or are satisfied with walking a treadmill to nowhere, then you definitely aren’t a Fun Girl. No harm, no foul. Just move on and find your mojo at a more traditional site.

However… if you aspire to make life an adventure, if there is a mischievous twinkle in your eye, if you know that you were created for a reason and to live with anything less than ultimate fulfillment, and a feeling of ultimate freedom, is settling for far less than your creator had intended… welcome home.
